The name of our Soap Opera is important for connoting what our Soap is about. The likes of Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are named after the surroundings and set that the Soap is set, whereas EastEnders and Neighbours purely connote the plot, with Neighbours based on a street where every character is interlinked by the location of their home, and EastEnders portraying the characters that live in the East End of London; these were factors we had to take in to consideration when conjuring up names for our Soap Opera. We wanted to focus our name on presenting our narrative function of the '7 Deadly Sins'.
