created invitations that we would send out in order to invite an audience to
come watch our soap opera trailer. We wanted to ensure that our soap opera
trailer would be attractive to our target audience to the point that we would
actually be able to release it, especially on our chosen institution of E4,
that caters to a niche audience of 16 to 24 year olds, especially women.
As we wanted to ensure that we fit the guidelines of what our target audience
want, we decided that we would hold a screening of our trailer to a few of our
target audience to then receive feedback on how well it went.
We asked them questions which can
be seen on our blog post, 'Post-viewing Questionnaire', that we know would
help us when it comes to finalising our evaluation, highlighting our strengths
as well as weaknesses of our final product.
